HERE'S why you should meditate

read time: 1 minute

everything is easier when you have a concrete reason for doing it.millions of people meditate for the same reason they diet 3 times a year: because someone said it's good for them.this reasoning is flimsy, and it's part of why so few people ever achieve consistency in their mindfulness practice.in the video above i'm going to talk you through an important flip of perspective, which usually gives students an "aha!" moment.after this, they have no problem practising consistently :)here's the short version: instead of asking "why meditate", you need to ask "why be anxious? why be depressed? why doubt myself? why rehearse the future in my head? why dwell on embarrassing moments from the past?"see, meditation, when practised correctly, is just returning to your default mode.meditation, when practised correctly, is just an opportunity to relax out of all the mental scripts you were trained into.meditative stability is your default mode.clarity is your default mode.calmness is your default mode.watch the video to find out how you can unlock these beneficial qualities with zero effort.
